Worcester State Hospital Fire
On July 22, 1991 the Worcester Fire Department battled a fast moving five alarm blaze at the historic Worcester State Hospital. More than 100 Worcester firefighters were assisted by mutual aid from the Grafton, Millbury, Shrewsbury, Sterling, Holden, Northborough, Auburn, Leicester and West Boylston fire departments.
