Presented is a lovely Victorian 14 karat gold and onyx or black glass brooch/pendant. This piece is American and dates to around 1860-1870. The pin is done as a beveled oval of onyx or black glass surrounded by diamond shapes in the same material. The gold setting of the onyx/glass has a fine milgrain finish. The brooch has an old 'C' style clasp as well as a loop at the top so it can be worn as a pendant. The pin is in good overall condition.
