Wall Behind Freestanding Tub
Accent walls are an excellent method to add vibrancy to any space. I installed a porcelain slab behind the freestanding tub in the primary bathroom. Porcelain was ideal for this tall accent wall because it is lighter than marble, less expensive, and water-resistant. The free-standing tub provides a spa-like, elegant feel to your bathroom; however, they are extremely heavy, so you may need to reinforce the floor before installation to support the tub's weight when filled with water.
