The Brain Break Coping Skills Dice game provides the opportunity for kids to physically act out a calming strategy to include stretching, progressive muscle relaxation, yoga, mindfulness, exercise, and self soothing for immediate results. The calming strategies dice game is an effective solution for productively releasing children’s energy. The game assists with making transitions easier and opportunities to practice coping skills in the classroom, distance learning, and in counseling sessions. Children simply use the visual images to prompt the acting out of the rolled dice coping skill. No reading required. The game may be used for 2 minutes or 20 minutes depending on how much of a relaxation break is needed. Product includes a no prep game board titled, "Brain Breaks." An alternative game board is included titled, "Calming Strategies." If using with distance education, simply share the game board on your computer screen. Use your dice and timer to move on behalf of the player. Circle on your screen what was rolled and discover together what coping skill intercepts between the dice for the child to role play.
