The Hebridean Way leads over all the ten Outer Hebridean Islands from Vatersay to the regional capital of Stornoway. Hiking the Hebridean Way in Scotland was a windswept, rainy, sometimes pathless - and altogether wonderful experience! Both the landscape and the weather are so intense and expressive that the week felt like a constant crescendo. We even briefly toyed with the idea of moving to the Outer Hebrides after that hike.
