Titled: Wood Duck on Roseberry This is the ninth piece in my linocut waterbird series. The beautiful Wood Duck, My inspiration for this piece comes from living on the backwaters of the Tennessee River. I live in the mountains now, but for years have lived on the backwaters of the Tennessee River. A beautiful waterfowl habitat and much of it protected. I would see wood ducks regularly while poking around in a kayak on many outdoor adventures. Lily pads, frogs, tadpoles, dragonflies, snails and fish all share his home on the water.
