Robe à Transformation 1860s The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Dress, c. 1840. This feels more country than city to me and I love that it isn't so frilly.

This breathtaking feather pelerine dates to circa 1830

An Unknown Child by an Artist of the Flemish School, c.1525-40. (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York).

Ensemble 1869 In love with the colors and lace! I want to wear it! Just for a little while please!

Round Gown ca. 1795; Met 1979.20a-g. Ensemble includes gown, separate stays, sleeveless spencer, and separate sleeves (probably left over from an earlier styling of the gown), all from the same striped silk satin fabric. Extra set of sleeves, back view. Sleeves from earlier version of the gown, probably with too little fabric to repurpose. Long and tight with elbow angle; probably 1780s. Trimmed with lace at cuff, and lace closed with cream-colored ribbons through eyelets.

1600___ Gown, cotton, gold, silver. worn by Katharina zur Lippe, when she was buried at age 6 in 1600. Die Schulterpartien zeigen für die Renaissancemode typische Schülterwülste. Das Kleid ist nur teilweise erhalten. Fehlstellen wurden mit einem hellbraunen Stoff ergänzt. Lippisches Landesmuseum
