This listing is for a custom made Feather purse. These purses are made of deerskin, they are very soft and have beautiful fringe. The Feather design on the front is done freehanded with a wood burner and if you look closely there are small little symbols, words, pictures hidden inside the feather design that kind of tell a short story. These are my most popular style of purses so it makes sense to create a listing for them. The size of the bag and the length of the fringe can affect the price. Just for an example (base price), Small (8 X 8) around 275.00 Medium (9 X 9) $345.00 Large 10 X 12 + would be around $525.00/575.00 depending on the strapbut usually for the larger purses you need a larger strap so you end up on the high ends of things. Extra long fringe is an additional charge of $50.00. There are different straps that can be made. A plain strap can be done for a small size but once you get to the medium size you really need a woven strap because the leather can curl. So for medium, larger and extra large bags you need a woven strap. Woven straps have different options that you can choose from so look for the pictures that shows you the choices. Woven straps are an additional 100.00 to the base price. And wraps at the base of the strap will be included for all sizes. There can also be additional charges if this turns into a story bag. Beads can be pricey, as can sari ribbon, artisan yarn and application of your personal beads and bobbles. I dont like surprises with pricing so we will confirm these things in the beginning but I just wanted to mention this. You can tell me the symbols, dates, words etc that you would like in the feather. I can also do the same things with sunflowers, mandalas, and trees. Keep in mind though that simple is bestlong words or a lots of words can be tricky as can detailed symbolsbut I will do my best! Baby feathers, feathers on the strap, additional burnings pockets, etc can all be added and may affect the price. There is also a picture that shows the length of fringe. So here is what I need to know so that I can give you an accurate price. 1. The size of the main pocket of the bag 2. The strap choice and the length of strap and which hip/shoulder you wear it on 3. The color combination that you would like 4.
