Depicts a young girl in pink dress staring off into the distance with a look of desire in her face. Titled "Sehnsucht" or "Longing". Signed Wagner to lower right of portrait. Stunning gilt work with enamel beading to border with pink, turquoise and cream backgrounds. Blue bee hive or Bindenschild mark to bottom.
