Luftwaffen Museum, Berlin, on site of Fliegerhorst Berlin Gatow/RAF Gatow Airfield. The Air Force Museum presents, in a guided tour, the history of military aviation and aerial warfare in Germany from their beginnings to the present day and puts them into the historical context. This includes the processing of the aerial warfare operations of opposing armed forces in the world wars and the presence of other armed forces on German soil after 1945.
During the Battle of Britain Air Show at RAF St.Athan on September 16th 1978 three ex Luftwaffe fighters were on display including this Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet 191904. Formerly part of JG400 it is now preserved in the Luftwaffe Museum at Berlin - Gatow.
