Set of 3 wonderful stoneware vessels handmade by Danish ceramics artist Bente Hansen at her own studio in the 1970s. Each can be used as a stand alone vase, but they can also be arranged as a playful sculpture. These examples are from the very early beginning of Bente Hansens artistic work. Bente Hansen’s works are a thoughtful reflection on geometry and colour. She was educated at Denmark’s Design School (former ”Skolen for Brugskunst”) in 1960-64. She has been attached to Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grøndahl in the 1960-80s. Her work is exhibited in prestigious institutions throughout the world such as London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, Stockholm’s National museum, US Palmer Museum or Düsseldorf’s Hetjens Ceramic Museum.
