Anna Maria Luisa de’ Medici, only daughter of Cosimo III de’ Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, and wife of Johann Wilhelm II, Elector Palatine, died on February 18th, 1743, at the age of 75. Historical accounts describe it variously as a long, painful death, a sudden fever or an “oppression on the breast.”

Prince Louis (de Valois) and his twin sisters, Victoire and Jeanne. Jeanne and Victoire were the last children born to Henri II and Catherine de Medicis. MARIA DE MEDICI (1540-1557) Daughter of Cosimo I de' Medici and Eleonora of Toledo. She was engaged to Alfonso II, Duke of Ferrara, but died before the wedding could take place.
