Seljavallalaug The swimming pool Seljavallalaug is situated in a short and a narrow valley at the foot of the Eyjafjoll Mountains in Southern Iceland. The local Youth Club built the old and unique pool 1923, where a still older and smaller one stood before. One of its long sides is the sheer mountainside, where natural hot water trickles into it.
Westfjords (Iceland). 'Iceland’s sweeping spectrum of superlative nature comes to a dramatic climax in the Westfjords – the island’s off -the-beaten-path adventure par excellence. Sweeping beaches flank the southern coast, roaring bird colonies abound, fjordheads tower above and then plunge into the deep, and a network of ruddy roads twists throughout, adding an extra sense of adventure.' http://www.lonelyplanet.com/iceland/the-westfjords
