A unique real scarab parure, by Phillips of Cockspur Street, London, late 19th century. The design is heavily influenced by antiquity. The necklace is similar to Classical fringe necklaces being excavated from archaeological sites in the Mediterranean, and the tiara is decorated with stylised lotus motifs in the Egyptian style.
