The Paris Architect: A Novel by Charles Belfoure- interesting Holocaust novel, some clumsy writing and stereotypical characters, but a worthwhile book for the most part. Most of the Amazon reviews are 5 star but I'd give it a 3 and 1/2.
Model Magic Picasso Faces I've done a really fun activity that I call "Picasso Faces." It uses markers and or paint and uses the work of Picasso to inspire kids to express the different paradox of feelings that often have inside. Use prints or books showing Picassos work to inspire and talk about how it's normal to feel two things at once, even though we often don't express it. For example a move might have been the best of times and the worst, during the same time period.
