Berlinale - NATIVe – A Journey into Indigenous Cinema - from Zacatecas to Patagonia. The Berlinale special series on Indigenous cinema is continuing its journey: Latin America is the focus of this year’s film programme, with 18 fictional and documentary films made between 1986 and 2014.
Berlinale Shorts - Berlinale Shorts: White Flags Are More Visible! 27 films from 18 countries will be competing for a Golden and a Silver Bear, as well as the nomination for best short film at the European Film Awards and the first-ever EUR 20,000 Audi Short Film Award.
Many World Premieres in the Berlinale Special 2015. Berlinale Special is part of the official programme and presents recent works by contemporary filmmakers, biopics of renowned personalities as well as extraordinary formats.
Berlinale Camera goes to Alice Waters and Carlo Petrini. Every year, by awarding the Berlinale Camera, the Berlinale pays tribute to personalities and institutions that have made a unique contribution to film and to whom the festival feels especially close.
Berlinale - The full programme for the tenth edition of Forum Expanded, entitled “To the Sound of the Closing Door”, is now confirmed. Two performances and 32 films across 18 different programmes from a total of more than 20 different countries will also be presented at the Akademie Studio and the Arsenal cinema.
LOLA at Berlinale. Since 2010, the International Film Festival Berlin, the Deutsche Filmakademie and German Films collectively host the project LOLA at Berlinale. The programme of this series consists of a collection of films shortlisted for the German Film Award.
