LOVE LOVE LOVE i've made these dozens of times, slightly altered each time depending whats in my baking cupboard. I also add protein powder. Jordan rarely eats baked goods but is always all over these... bonus is they're somewhat healthier than regular cookies and packed with protein and fiber!
The 80-10-10 diet is a low fat approach to the raw vegan diet promoted by Dr. Douglas Graham, a long-term raw foodist and athlete. Basically, this version of the raw food diet recommends obtaining at least 80% of your total calories from carbohydrates from sweet fruit while restricting both fat and protein to less than 10% of total calories each.
Roast Pork with Bacon Jam. Actually, I didn't bother to roast the pork. I just wanted the recipe for the Bacon Jam :P This recipe is lighter on the vinegar than other recipes I've tried, so it is a nice balance of acidity to sweetness. Do use a thick-slice, wood smoked bacon and drizzle a high quality Balsamic vinegar over the jam!
Oh man they really had me fooled! when Nick fake-bit Judy I was like "wait what? how...how is this happening?" and then when they made it clear they were pretending I was like "WHEW!!" <<I knew they switched it out because of the subtle ways they played the previous moment (bringing up blueberries in a seemingly random gesture because seemingly random things are never innocent) but that scene still was intense and I doubted my theory for a second.
No-Bake Protein Oat Bars Ingredients: 2 cups dry oatmeal 4 scoops whey protein powder (vanilla or chocolate works best) ½ cup natural peanut butter 1/3 cup of water or milk Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, and then press into a 9-by-9 inch pan lined with wax paper. Freeze for 40 minutes and cut into bars.
