"Study of Insects, Butterflies and a Snail with a Sprig of Forget-Me-Nots" and "Study of Butterflies and Other Insects with a Sprig of Apple Blossom" by Jan Van Kessel. 1659 oil on copper. Sold as a pair July 2013 at Sotheby's London for £302,500 (or $485,530 USD. Similar in nature to (but less beautiful than, IMHO) the 1655 ones in the Dutch cabinet gallery at NGA-DC.
