Swim Caps - I hated these. 7th grade first hour gym + swimming + swim caps (couldn't hear with them on) + couldn't wear my glasses + hideous "swimsuits" provided by school = deaf and blind 12 yr old girl with soaking cotton swimsuit sagging to her knees and rubber flower growing from her head. Pitiful. Then trying to "redo" myself for rest of school day. Traumatic. :)

remember these! Baby shoes that mommy had to polish white whenever they got scuffed up. The sentimental parents then had them bronzed & displayed proudly/permanently in the living room.

Remember the walking dolls from the '60s? They walk in front of you and you hold their hands as they walk...although rather stiffly...knees didn't bend!!
