Great idea! Also, the whole apples have so many calories - easier and more calorie conscious to have a slice. Instead of using whole apples for caramel/chocolate apples use slices - yes i hate tryin' to bite into a huge apple that is covered in stuff that makes it even more impossible to bite into... this is brilliant!
