A Hungarian girl dressed in traditional garb is soaked by local boys in the main street of the village of Holloko, about 100 kms northeast of Budapest. Holloko, a World Heritage site, will celebrate Easter next weekend with the traditional "watering of girls," a fertility ritual rooted in Hungarian tribes of pre-Christian past, going as far back as the second century AD. Impression Lijiang is one of China's largest cultural spectacles. The show centers around the coexistence and traditions of different minorities living in China's southern Yunnan region. 500 performers representing the Naxi, Yi and Bai people participate, which takes place beneath the 5,596 meter peak of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The event is directed by, among others, star film director Zhang Yimo (House of Flying Daggers).It is the highest altitude production in the world.
