boudoirboudoir: Peta by Eryca Green, 2011 (by National Portrait Gallery) This photograph is a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize 2012 on display at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra from 20 March to 20 May 2012. Artist Statement: We see many images of how awful cancer is and the suffering it causes. I wanted to show the beauty of survival. My friend Peta went on a tough journey, but she survived. She is more beautiful now than ever before.
One day it will. When you stop looking for love and continue on with your life, that's usually when love comes knocking on your door. Be patient, because in the end it will be so worth the wait. Much love to all of you that are having trouble right now. Heartaches don't last forever, but they sure can make life impossible to bare with. Handle only what you can and let everything else go. The weight of the world shouldn't be on your shoulders. ~Pi
