Blank Design Group - HEAVENLY TRACKS located in the lower floor of a three story South Lake Tahoe cabin adjacent to Heavenly Ski Resort. Heavenly Tracks is designed to sustain the beautiful lake views, while bringing the Sierra Nevada Mountains indoors, incorporating design features such as a custom log diffusor wall that includes a hidden amplifier iso chamber. Saloon style doors are used fro variable acoustics in the live room adjacent to sound proof sliding doors. When entering the studio you step into one of four isolation booths and a faux pine tree greets you and also hides an existing structural post.The front of the control room is equipped with an SSL AWS SE and lined with a 1/8" cedar veneer combined with Owens Corning 703 to achieve 300Hz absorbtion. Monitors are Focal and setup in a 5.1 surround configuration. In the rear of the room a custom snow ski ceiling cloud floats above while LED back lit plexiglass RPG QRD 734's are combined with a large transparent ski resort trail map painted James Niehues to really light up the theme. In addition the color LED's utilize a built-in microphone to produce colors and animations that react to sound.Heavenly Tracks interior is truely one-of-a-kind and the space is pirched right above beautiful Lake Tahoe.
