Blue splatter ceramic mugs
Blue splatter ware has been made here in my cheshire studio uk on my potters wheel. All hand thrown using earthenware clay, turned and cleaned with a hand rolled handle attached during the green ware stage. Each stage of the drying and firing stages blue oxide is splattered over the item, fired to bisque ware again another splatter of blue. Once dried a transparent glaze is added.
