From the French Crown jewels - A pair of antique "FEUILLES DE CROSEILLIER" DIAMOND EAR CLIPS. Following the fall of the Second Empire, nearly all of the Crown jewels were sold by the French government from 12th to 23rd of May 1887. The parure de Feuilles de groseillier was dismantled and sold as separate lots. Tiffany & Co. was the largest buyer at this legendary auction. #FrenchCrownJewels
