Daylight is important for children's development, as it has a positive effect on health and well-being. Our LAMILUX Glass Skylight F100 Circular, which won the German Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award in the Winner category in 2019, now provides sufficient light inside the building at the daycare center in Sonnenfeld. In addition, the round, harmonious shape of the flat roof window also makes the daycare center an absolute eye-catcher visually! #LAMILUX

A market community in Austria is showing how two very different space requirements can be combined in one building: An ingenious new building accommodates 50 new nursery places as well as the new main station of the Straßwalchen voluntary fire brigade. As a special highlight on the subject of sustainability and energy efficiency and as a connecting element between the two parts of the building, our LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60 was installed. #LAMILUX

Three LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60 provide sufficient daylight in the new building of the Bertha von Suttner Realschule in Cologne. A shed roof measuring 1.15 x 2.65 m brings daylight into an otherwise artificially lit staircase. Two further Glass Roof constructions were architecturally integrated into an atrium and thus provide natural illumination of the school corridors inside the building. The teachers want the pupils to be highly motivated and willing to perform. This is positively influenced by

“The glass roofs are an architectural enrichment for our school and, above all, ensure that the school turns into a place of community. The brightness fuels a good and cheerful prevailing mood and moreover contributes, in conjunction with the open concept of our school, to a mutual perception of a school as a place for meeting.“ (Bernhard Schiffer, head teacher Willibald-Gluck-Gymnasium)
