Kidacity - I have been lucky enough to make Lucas's birthday cake for the last 3 years. He sat by his mum and helped choose what he'd like while looking at my mock up and I have to say he was a wonderful design consultant. Batman is sculpted from gumpaste and the joker is layered fondant with hand painting. Its difficult to see in the photo but the card and hand of the joker sit out from the cake to create a bit of an optical illusion. Lucas loved that playing card so I wanted to make it a bit of a feature. The bottom extended tier is white chocolate mud cake with vanilla italian meringue buttercream and a white chocolate ganache shell. The top tier is dark chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache filling. I hope you have a fantastic day today Lucas and I hope you like the cake you helped me design! | Facebook
