Pilea tips:

Light: Pilea peperomioides, also known as the Chinese Money Plant, thrives in bright sunlight. Place it near a west or south window to keep it happy. Or consider adding a grow light!

Watering: Water your Pilea when the top half of soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. Allow excess water to drain away to prevent waterlogged soil.

Well-Draining Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix to ensure good aeration for the roots. While I've been "busy", big Pilea mama has been busy as well - busy growing! Back in 2016 I removed more than 30 baby pileas from her, leaving just two big babies that you see are growing from the sides. She's been dropping quite a few leaves this winter, and she's soon approaching her 3rd birthday. Not sure how she will like a low light apartment, but we will see. What a beauty though! Pancake Plant, Pilea Peperomioides, Chinese Money Plant, Living Vintage, Money Plant, Decoration Plante, Houseplants Indoor, Garden Living, Led Grow
