I’ve been asked by lots of you to show you the plants I’ve used in the garden. Well, if you love plenty of movement and softness in your garden, grasses are the way to go. I wanted both formality and softness…if that’s possible to achieve, so I stuck to three types of grass and repeated them in swathes as well as winding them through other plants to create a ‘golden thread’ through the garden. I need to caveat all of this with - I am NO garden designer. But I saw pictures of the kind of thing I liked and spoke to various experts, including @grdn_design and my friend @camdenroadgarden to come up with something that I hope works!

The three grasses I went for are:
1. Pennisetum Alopecuroides (that’s mouthful to pronounce - sorry if I Sesleria Autumnalis, Calamagrostis Karl Foerster, Pennisetum Alopecuroides, Hakonechloa Macra, Garden Grasses, Garden Well, Woodland Plants, Types Of Grass, Golden Thread
