Makers Mark ad campaign for Makers 46 bourbon

Sweet and strong with touches of citrus, the Old Fashioned never really gets old, especially when it's made with Maker's Mark. During its dawn, the Old Fashioned was considered a morning drink and was originally referred to as the "whisky cocktail". The renaming is said to have occurred at the Pendennis Club in Louisville, where the Old Fashioned remains that city's official cocktail.

Maker's Mark The Heart Release is a limited-edition cask strength bourbon that focuses on the “heart cut” of the distillation process, considered the most flavorful part.

Bourbon and crème de cassis play together to bring a wonderfully jammy element to the classic whisky sour. This remix on a classic Whisky Sour uses Crème de Cassis to make it sweet and special. “Cassis,” French for blackcurrant, is a liqueur derived from these berries by macerating them in brandy or a neutral grain spirit. This specialty of the Burgundy region has been produced there since 1841.
