Katie Goulbourn on Instagram: "DIY BOOT ROOM STEP BY STEP 🪚 We aren’t the quickest DIYers here, having taken the wall out back in 2021 and completing the project earlier this year! But this page is here to help you with both ideas and how to guides to complete your own projects at home, so I’ve pulled together as much content as I could from my camera roll, and included step-by-step instructions as to how we created this space. Here we go: 1. Remove skirting boards, if possible keep in good condition for reusing at the end! 2. Create a sturdy wooden base the depth of the kallax (so the Kallax unit sits flush on top of the base) and a few cm’s shorter than the skirting board, which you will place infront of the base at the end 3. Place the Kallax unit on top of the base 4.
