an elaborate garden is shown in the middle of a building with many hedges and bushes

ONE: In the ancient citadel of Amer in Jaipur, the Dil-e-Aaram Garden is where the elements of nature and a geometry of design come together. Built within the sandstone fort in a syncretic style of Rajput and Mughal architecture, its beauty lies in its Charbagh (four-garden) format, with water channels cross-crossing a manicured garden, embraced by a lattice-like marble walkway. #11DaysOfGardens #VanVaibhav

a fountain surrounded by lots of plants and flowers

Wouldn't it be fantastic if there was a garden in the city where one could forget all stress and worries? Imagine ... The discreet humming of its central fountain, and the beauty of carefully planted shrubs and flowers would enlighten one's soul, refresh one's mind, and offer essential moments of reflection. This project aims to draw inspiration from Islam's great tradition/knowledge in garden design (note: this is not a faith-based space).

a courtyard with many different plants and trees in the center, surrounded by stone walkways

Mughal Garden at Amer Fort is a geometrical garden which is also known as Charbagh. It is called a Mughal garden because of the Islamic design of the surrounding buildings and the garden's style itself. The purpose of the garden was to enhance the fort's sense of luxury with unessentials such as this special garden for the king.
