This is a unique work, made on a piece of vintage quilt. This idea was born while working in the garden. Flowers and butterfly are cut from upholstery fabric and sewn on by hand. Furthermore there's embroidery on the flowers.

Some stills from my #wanderlustclass week 11 lesson by @expressyourartsysoul The top right flower is a print out i took from pexels, and the bottom left is a decoupage paper, and then textured with coloured tissue papers. I also added some dry leaves which i had lying around after some botanical geli prints, and i think they add to the textures. #eaclasses #everythingart #wanderlust2024 #wanderlust2024class #wanderlust24class

I knew that I wanted to add fabric water lilly flowers to this piece, but instead of having them fully blooming on the surface and only seeing them from beneath.
