The colourful fall capsule wardrobe is always a fun one for me to make, because colour theory is something I have training in, and I love to share that information with you in ways that make sense and are easy to understand.

This spring capsule wardrobe is a little bit different this week. It doesn't focus on a theme or particular colour palette. I am going to talk about all things colour in a wardrobe and the steps that you can take to break out of your neutral comfort zone.

You might have heard this term before but if you haven't, you may be asking what is Dopamine dressing? It is a trend that came from the pandemic when we were all feeling blah, and oftentimes wearing blah outfits.

It has been proven that during times of crisis and uncertainty we go back to colours that are darker and more neutral, while in times of economic prosperity and peace we choose colours that are brighter.

This week I am rounding up the colour palette wardrobe talk with a colourful summer capsule wardrobe. Do you ever have those moments when you see someone wearing something, and you think, "I wish that I was brave enough to wear that"? Why do we do that to ourselves?

I often build capsule wardrobes using warm colour palettes or a combination of warm and cool. Last week's Spring Capsule Wardrobe on a Budget was more of a warm toned neutral, so I figured this week I would focus on cooler tones because people appreciate when I do.
