Andy Goldsworthy is a British sculptor, renowned in his field, that creates temporary installations out of sticks and stones, and anything and everything else that he finds outside. The son of a mathematician, Goldsworthy grew up working on farms before eventually getting his BA from what is now the University of Central Lancashire. "A lot of my work is like picking potatoes," he told the Guardian. "You have to get into the rhythm of it."

Nature’s subtle irregularities and variations are fodder for Jon Foreman. Using found leaves, stones, and sand, the Wales-based artist assembles swirling gradients and organic motifs that radiate across forest floors and beaches.

Because fungus is challenging to find and photograph, fungi photos are less common than flower pics, but they're just as beautiful.

Montreal-based fashion designer and creative Raku Inoue (previously) continues his Natura Insects series with a focus on brilliantly colored moths and butterflies. One of the genres of art that I love is portraits. No matter the style, there's just something about seeing a portrait through an artist's eyes, and getting an inside look at how they view the human form. While artist Vicki Rawlin's work isn't solely portrait work, although this is what initially drew my interest, I love how she uses the natural world from petals to twigs to create her artwork.
