Facon, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Martín Bustamante has traveled well over 70,000 kilometers (40,000 miles) around Argentina since opening Facon. His quest for indigenous crafts, creative design, and ancient traditions regularly takes him to the country’s most remote and inaccessible corners. His collected finds, on display in his Buenos Aires boutique, bear witness to Argentina’s cultural richness. Photograph by Agustina Montemitoli

Villa Saint-Michel in Paris, France
Designed by Nicolas Bossard, the client wanted her apartment to feel like “a cabin by the sea” in a space at the top of a historic building in Paris’s 18th arrondissement. Bossard’s response was to use every square inch of the limited floor plan, installing a bright and spacious living, working, and dining floor on the lower level, and housing the bedroom, bathroom, and laundry at attic level.
