This is something like what IT does to victims but powerful demons or vampires will do this to their victims and control them. Or perhaps a Seer will show someone their future and once they see it they're lost forever inside it. Or if victims look into a mirror, a special powerful evil mirror, and get lost within its depths. Or this will happen to a witch (or other powerful being) when theyre using their power
