Yediburunlar Lighthouse, on Turkey's Turquoise Coast near Fethiye -- It isn't, in fact, a lighthouse but is an 8-room retreat; remote, off the beaten path, & without the tacky package tourism look of resort towns. People go to Yediburunlar to hike in the mountains, take guided walks on part of the Lycian Way, attend yoga retreats, or to escape the crowds. Definitely a dream vacation. #myt
The Lycian way is a 509-kilometer footpath around the coast of Lycia in southern Turkey, from Fethiye to Antalya. http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/thread_display.html?forum_thread_id=49615
