Thranduil, son of Oropher, was an Elven king who ruled over the Woodland Realm in the Second and Third Ages. Though inherently cautious, he eventually committed his kingdom to fighting Sauron in the War of the Ring. He was also the father of the elven prince of Mirkwood, Legolas, who was a member of the Fellowship of the Ring.
#LeePace as #Thranduil — That armor is glorious. His hair is glorious. Everything about Thranduil is glorious. (I should go to bed. I'm rambling over Lee Pace the way I do over people when I've been up for too long and stop editing myself, haha.)
"Thranduil needs his own movie because I guess he's a little misunderstood. He's such a great and wonderful character and we see so little of him. All we see is a cold mask. But there is so much more than that. His true feeling and his true pain. And Lee Pace is an a-m-a-z-i-n-g actor" <---this so much!!!<<<<
