Mt. Washington Valley is one of the most popular four season destinations in New England. The towns of Bartlett, Glen, Jackson and North Conway are the home to many of the region's best known attractions. Nearby are Storyland, Attitash, The Conway Scenic Railroad. All of these charming villages have restaurants, shops and scenic walks and drives. The Five Mile Circuit and the "loop" that rings the town of Jackson, Diana's Bath and Cathedral Ledge are favorites to locals and tourists alike.
The five brothers from Gary, Indiana known as the Jackson 5, were no strangers to touring. Their father Joe Jackson had the boys toiling on the chitlin’ circuit since 1967, earning themselves a solid regional reputation in the Midwest. The group’s fortunes began to change when they caught the attention of Motown artist Gladys Knight at a fateful Amateur Night performance at the Apollo theater.
