Equestrian Eric Lamaze won his second individual and third career Olympic medal when he won bronze in the individual jumping event at Rio 2016. A six-way jump-off in the final round saw Lamaze and Fine Lady 5 complete the course with one fault to make the podium. It was Lamaze’s first fault of the entire Games, the difference between bronze and first place with his time being the tiebreaker. Winning his third medal, Lamaze becomes the most decorated equestrian in Canadian Olympic history.
