The main component of an early medieval Slavic costume (both Empire and at arm) consisted of a Soroskha (= shirt), both men and women. In the female costume, it was a boden-/ ankle-length underwear made of linen, often with long sleeves. About a dress with the same average over a Soroskha was a Rubakha (often wool). (German Website)
