Double-amputee runner Oscar Pistorius is competing at the London Olympics after being selected for South Africa's 1,600-meter relay team. Pistorius became the first amputee track athlete to compete at the games after South Africa's Olympic committee picked him July 4 as a late addition to their team.
There were more medals for Team GB in rowing as the lightweight men's four - Chris Bartley, Richard Chambers, Rob Williams and Peter Chambers - won silver in a thrilling final at Eton Dorney. South Africa took the gold.
