My double industrial conduit curtain rod. I made this with pipe fitting and electrical conduit. Pipe fittings cost $15.00, conduit and spray paint cost $13.00. Cost per window is about $28.00 in Oregon where we have no sales tax.

Allison from Golden Sycamore used Kee Klamp pipe fittings to put together a rustic looking curtain rod for her bedroom. The pipe and fittings were distressed using a unique heating method. The heating of the pipe and fittings discolors and ages the metal, giving the entire curtain rod some very unique character.

If anyone's thinking about doing this (going up in tanners room this weekend) get the galvanized piece that attaches to the wall (looks much cooler $6.50 each) and then get the curve and rod in PVC piping, MUCH CHEAPER!! And then spray paint, i can't decide between islet or black.

For an inexpensive DIY curtain rod alternative, consider using galvanized pipe. #JuliaKappel #ShortSaleSpecialist #TwoPointsREI (972) 318-9808 www.twopointsrei.com
