Traditionally made from dried cacti, this simple DIY rainstick has the same sound down. You'll need a paper towel tube, tinfoil, uncooked rice, and colored duct tape.

Sand Dough - to make stepping stones or garden sculptures - non-toxic :) 1 part Elmer's Glue, 2 parts white flour, 2 parts asbestos-free sand, 2 parts water - mix in bucket, then coat mold with vaseline or cooking spray, pour in dough, make hand imprint & words, and let dry 3 days before decorating with paint and gluing on embellishments, etc. Then to weatherproof, coat with Verathane or other clear polyeurethane produce and then concrete sealer. Beautiful!
