Puerto Rico Olympia Boxen

José ("Chegüi") Torres (May 3, 1936 – January 19, 2009), was a Puerto Rican professional boxer. As an amateur boxer, he won a silver medal in the junior middleweight at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne. In 1965, he defeated Willie Pastrano to win the WBC and WBA light heavyweight championships. In 1997, he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Puerto Rico: Javier Culson Wins Historic Bronze Medal

The Olympic athlete Javier Culson (@JavierCulson) has made history by winning the bronze medal in the 400 metre hurdle event in the London 2012 Olympic Games. This is the first Olympic medal ever to be won by an athlete from Puerto Rico in an event other than boxing.

Orlando Cruz (born July 1, 1981) is a Puerto Rican professional boxer. As an amateur, Cruz represented Puerto Rico at the 2000 Olympic Games in Australia. Cruz made his professional debut on December 15, 2000, against Alfredo Valdez in Puerto Rico. He came OUT in October 2012.
