Domebro is an astringent powder that works incredibly well to soothe and dry out the itchy rash and bubbles and bumps caused by poison ivy. Mix as directed with water in a leftover container w/ a lid and dab with a dampened washcloth repeatedly. Do not rub at all. Just dab over and over and over and the itch will stop quickly and the rash will dry up. Fabulous stuff at Walgreen's.
"Apple cider vinegar is an effective treatment for poison ivy because of its anti-inflammatory properties as well as for its ability to equalize the pH balance on the rash. When used as a topical application, apple cider vinegar will reduce the severity of itching and shorten the duration of the rash."
