Mary and her husband Philip of Spain. Oil on canvas, English School, 17th century. Sadly for Mary, the marriage was a failure, no heirs were produced, the English disliked the idea of the Queen's foreign husband, and Philip being much younger, didn't seem particularly enamoured with Mary.
