"Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them" -Margaret Atwood.
Margaret Atwood nails pervasive objectification of women and internalized misogyny.
Some written in Diaries, some in Books and some will remain Untold but nothing will ever make your story less awesome
Margaret Atwood THE HANDMAID'S TALE
'Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.' Margaret Atwood
Margaret Atwood's rules on writing: "You most likely need a thesaurus, a rudimentary grammar book, and a grip on reality. This latter means: there's no free lunch. Writing is work. It's also gambling. You don't get a pension plan. Other people can help you a bit, but essentially you're on your own. Nobody is making you do this: you chose it, so don't whine."
Margaret Atwood - she's quickly become one of my favorite authors.
