Lamb's Ear: Stachys byzantina. Perhaps the most well-known species of the lamb's ears. 'Countess Helene von Stein' (also called 'Big Ears') is a popular cultivar that offers leaves double the size (four inches across and up to 10 inches long!) I cut a bunch of lambs ear and let dry.
Lamb's Ear...easy to grow, soft to touch, beautiful purple flowers attract honey bees, and it's a natural bandaid. You can wrap wounds with it, it's edible in salads and tea and has analgesic properties.
